Liverpool Look to Get "Great" €29.6million Star Signing Done

Mamadou Sakho LiverpoolLiverpool must reinforce their back line in the winter transfer window because they cannot win the Premier League title with such a shaky defense.
New signing Matip has impressed for the Merseysiders. In his presence Liverpool have conceded 9 goals in 9 games. In his absence, they have conceded 9 goals in 3 games.
Not to forget, French international Sakho will likely be sold next month. Therefore, Liverpool are interested in signing a new center half in January and reports going in the media suggest that the Reds want to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.
According to Daily Mail, Liverpool are poised to get Van Dijk signing done by triggering a £25million release clause in his contract.

Not so long ago, Puel praised the former Celtic star and made it clear that he wants Van Dijk to stay (Mirror). The Saints boss stated:

“Van Dijk is a great player now. But he has a contract with Southampton and it is important he stays to continue his work.

The 25-year-old defender has already featured in 20 games for Southampton this season. In your opinion, should Liverpool splash the cash and sign him?

yes Klopp should break the bank for Virgil – he really is a massive player in Europe. he will come and help us restore the pride of the Mersey together with Matip they will form ‘The Great Wall of China”
we also need Dembele from Celtic – lets hope Brendan lets him go ?

Go for Johnathan Tah and Sulo. both of them are good CB with Matip.

If Van Djik will improve our backline let him come otherwise The results on Sunday at Bornemouth were shocking. Why improvise the dence with Lucas when we have Sakho in our ranks! Why can’t Klopp forgive him as Jesus and God advised us to forgive! It doesn’t help bragging that we beat Arsenal, Chelsea, etc when we lose points to Burnley, Bournemouth, etc. These points will haunt us come the end of the season!

Klopp has a reputation for working with young talent.
In many ways, the addition of Jonathan Tah and Sule would make more sense than a mega-money pursuit of Virgil van Dijk, with Liverpool facing major competition for the Southampton player from rival clubs like Manchester City and etc .
Jonathan Tah and Sule would be a great squad addition, alongside the experienced Matip who made the move in the summer and under Klopp, they has the potential to become a regular first team star.
