Liverpool reinforced their defense by signing a new goalie and two new central defenders in the summer transfer window.
However, they really needed to sign a left back last summer and must do so in the winter transfer window. James Milner is not a permanent solution for the position and Spanish international Alberto Moreno is still shaky at the back.
In such a scenario, Jurgen Klopp is looking to sign a new left back in January and reports suggest that Hull City starlet Joshua Tymon is now a top target.
According to the Sun, Klopp is planning a swoop for the 17-year-old left back and Liverpool are set to move in to secure his services in January. The likes of Arsenal and Everton are also interested in signing the England international.
This season, Joshua has featured in two games for the Tigers in the EFL Cup victories against Exeter City in the second round and Bristol City in the fourth round. Moreover, he made two appearances in the FA Cup last season.
In all fairness, Liverpool must sign an experienced left back to strengthen their back line and Joshua does not fit the bill. (Picture: Reuters)
