Roundup – Liverpool Close to New Signing, Man United Want $49million Star, Spurs' Huge Deal

The transfer window will re-open in just over two months but the rumors/reports are in full flow already as clubs look to sign new stars and hold onto key players.

ESPN claim that sources of Liverpool are close to signing a new defender as the Reds and Bury have confirmed that the two clubs have agreed a deal over the transfer of 15-year-old center half Emeka Obi.
The youngster has been in the limelight this week. Two days back we published a report (via Sun) that Liverpool have signed the teenager and only visa issues are holding the move.
Liverpool’s arch rivals Manchester United are interested in signing a new right fullback in the winter transfer window and reports (via O Jogo) suggest that Mourinho is looking to lure Benfica’s $49million rated star Nelson Semedo.
Jose does not prefer Darmian and it is highly likely that the Italian defender will soon leave Old Trafford. Semedo will be quality replacement if he does end up signing for the Red Devils.
Last but not the least, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to hand star striker Harry Kane a huge new deal that will double his wages (via ES).
At the moment, the England international is earning £50,000-a-week.
