Liverpool were once again rampant in the attacking third but poor at the back as they defeated Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Reds remain in third place, level on points with Arsenal and league leaders Manchester City.
Jurgen Klopp must solve the defensive dilemma very soon if Liverpool are to win the PL title this season. As far as the back line is concerned, the German manager must sign a new left back.
Against Palace, Spanish international Albero Moreno started in the left back position. The former Sevilla star did prove to be productive in the attack but once again, he was shaky at the back.
Moreno started in the absence of retired England international James Milner who missed the game due to illness. Playing in the left fullback position, the ex Manchester City star has been influential for the Reds this season.
The 30-year-old star is expected to be fit for Liverpool to face Watford next weekend at Anfield (PhysioRoom). It will not come as any surprise if Milner returns straight into the starting XI in place of Moreno.
