Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the star man up front for the home side. The Swedish superstar was had a mediocre first half hour but then improvised big time. In the 54th minute, Zlatan overpowered Otamendi and set up Juan Mata for the only goal of the game.
Mourinho’s men will now face West Ham United in the last eight. The Hammers defeated in form Chelsea 2-0 at home.
