Manchester United spent heavily in the summer transfer window and it will be fair to say that the results so far have not been fruitful.
As far as the transfer rumors are concerned, the Red Devils are constantly linked with players and it will be intriguing to see who they will sign when the transfer window re-opens in January.
According to reports in the British media (Daily Mail), Manchester United are interested in signing Genk attacker Leon Bailey. The Old Trafford club has sent scouts recently to monitor his performance against Sassuolo in the Europa League.
Leon had a decent last campaign for the Belgian side, he scored 7 goals and provided 11 assists in 42 appearances. This season, his stats are even better. Bailey has directly contributed in 12 goals (7 goals and 5 assists) in 17 games.
Memphis Depay has mostly been a bench warmer under the management of Mourinho and the Dutch international is no happy with the situation. It will not come as any surprise if he leaves in January window and United should look to replace him with Leon.
Capable of playing on either flank, the 19-year-old pacy winger is an exciting talent and United must secure his signature in the winter transfer window. (Picture: Reuters).
