Klopp Ready to Seal $54.5million Versatile Star Signing for Liverpool

inaki-williams-athletic-bilbaoLiverpool already have more than a few quality attacking midfielders and once again they are linked with a move to sign Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams.
According to reports in the Spanish media (Don Balon), the Reds would be willing to meet the release clause of 50 million euros ($54.5million) in Inaki’s contract to secure his signature in the winter transfer window.
The 22-year-old Spanish international was in top form for Bilbao last season. He scored 13 goals and provided 6 assists in 37 appearances. This season, Williams has netted one goal and provided 2 assists in 8 league appearances for the La Liga side so far.
Inaki is a versatile talent who can play anywhere in the attacking third but mainly he is a right winger.
Liverpool spent heavy cash to sign a top right winger last summer in the form of Senegalese international Sadio Mane and the former Southampton star is performing brilliantly.
In all fairness, the Reds do not need another winger. They must focus on reinforcing the following positions first.

  • Left Back
  • Defensive Midfield
  • Strike-force

In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Inaki Williams?

  1. probably he can play a role of versatile striker, I think he can fit in easily because presently Liverpool don’t have a stand striker that we can rely upon, this is my view anyway

  2. Valentino Wek Mabior says:

If he has the winning mentality just like our attacking front, than Liverpool should sign him in January since most of our front lie will be on International Duties.
Lets not be stop by that price tag.

  3. Halidou MAIGA says:

    We need left back, a 6 and a 9
