Tottenham are looking to reinforce their attacking midfield this summer and have been chasing French international Nkoudou who plays for Ligue 1 side Marseille.
However, the Les Bleus midfielder has not been the only attacker on Spurs’ radar.
Back in February, reports (Talksport via Calciomercato) suggested that Azzurri star Lorenzo Insigne is one of Pochettino’s prime transfer targets to improve the attacking midfield.
According to the latest reports, the 25-year-old star attacker has failed to agree a new deal with Napoli and his agent has claimed that the player will ask to leave the Serie A side this summer because other clubs have better offers for the Italian (ESPN).
In such a scenario, Spurs now have an opportunity to finally sign the versatile playmaker and they must move in to secure his signature. The $23million (Mirror) rated star is an experienced attacker who is easily much better than Nkoudou.
Last season, Insigne was a key member of the Napoli side and helped them finish second in the Italian league. In 37 league appearances, Lorenzo scored 12 goals and also provided 10 assists.
In your opinion, should Pochettino splash the cash and sign Insigne?

Levi…..Paul Mitchel -Couldn’t take your crap any longer, that sucks because great @ job & great loss to club!
Lets hope Levi doesn’t screw up any more deals this window or wait for low price stop gap players that won’t help our chances in Europe + Top Spot!!…Pray his uncle sell’s Spurs when new stadium’s finished & certain why been holding on for Silly Money Offer; then our team will Win Win Win!
Great fan- can’t even spell ‘LEVY’.
if levi is willing to spend the cash, starting with insigne, maybe we can do something really impressive in the champions league any maybe even stop man uniteds show and win the league. man united does not have a good defence. we are the only top club in england right now with a good everything, defence, midfield and striker
spending 20 million on insigne quite perfect.
he is pacey player, I’m interested, he will be a ideal addition for Tottenham in champions League.
after insigne.
buy el shaarawy for 15 million. after buy him.
sell Eriksen, if inter milan is interested. but
please don’t sell him for just 30 million. it will be poor business.
inter milan now have billionaire owner.
they have a lot of money to spend.
so if inter milan or any big clubs interested can sign him for a big money or
around 50 -60 million..
sell bentelab for 20 million to juventus
slap that price tag.
sell mason for 10 million.
sent chadli on loan to dortmund.
so that we can sell chadli to dortmund for much more big money after loan.
now his price is 15, if he plays well his price increases. after loan try to sell him for 30 million.
like Jackson martinezz sale.
sell
bentalab, Eriksen, mason for high money.
and
spend that money to buy highly talented players like draxler, aubamayang
to buy aubamayang.
give dortmund player plus cash.
30 million plus chadli for there bid price 12 million.
if they rejects make 35 million bid.
convince them by to make him play in 4-3-3 formation.
convince him by Tottenham form.
if Tottenham can do that we will take champions League and epl title.
or swap him using Eriksen. so no waste of money.
we will get aubamayang in exchange for Eriksen..
You’re a blatant person, with an idiotic view on football and business! You have clearly been playing too much FIFA! Buy this, buy this, sell and trade.. That’s not how it works.
if that’s who I think it is ( Vincente Spurs ) he’s a know fucktard of the highest order – supposed Spurs fan who has photos wearing a Chelsea shirt , and causes grief with idiotic abuse of decent Spurs fans.
Could be worth waiting as Mata might be on his way from Man U as him and mourinio “clash” could be a safer option if we can afford his wages?
