Mourinho Keen on Agreeing $67million Star Signing for Man United

Jose MourinhoHaving already secured the signing of a superstar midfielder in the form of Paul Pogba from Juventus, Mourinho is interested in signing another star from the Serie A champions in the form of Leonardo Bonucci.
The 29-year-old Italian player is arguably one of the best central defenders in the world and will largely improve Man United’s back line. However, signing him will probably be even harder than luring Pogba.
According to reports (MEN via Calciomercato), the Manchester United manager is keen on hiring the services of the former Inter Milan star but the chances are not really high because the Old Lady could offer him a new improved deal.
After breaking the transfer record to sign Pogba, United will have to splash heavy cash again if they are to have any hope of luring Bonucci. According to Daily Mirror, Juventus rate Leonardo around 60 million euros ($67million).
Bonucci has played over 250 games and won 12 major titles with the Bianconeri. He was a key member of the Azzurri side at the European Championships.

Yes Mr.Mourino…Now I can say you are listening to the Die Hards of Manu…since long we are requesting Moyes, van Gal and yourself to look for a MATURE DEFENDER but we always meet a deaf ear from everyone !We are happy to hear that you are trying to get Bonucci to Old Trafford..With this move we can breath easier…no need to worry for Smalling grasping shirts of opponents !! PLEASE Jose talk to Woodward and get the money needed to get this man in our team…thanking you in advance..

No doubt any team would love to have Bonucci in their line-up but his age is against him. To pay 60 -70 M for someone who has at most 3 – 4 years left playing at the top of his game would be ostentatious. Going after Marquinhos or Varane or Garay probably makes more long term financial sense. Besides, Blind and Baily played quite well against Leicester. Those two, along with Smalling, may be the crux of what United need as center backs this season.

now that the midfield and striker position is sorted out we need to get a top central defender ,Smalling for me is too dangerous at the back giving away free kicks in dangerous areas and soft penalties.
