Liverpool have Agreed Fee to Seal Star Exit

Liverpool have been looking to offload Christian Benteke for quite some time and the latest reports suggest that the Belgian striker is heading to join Crystal Palace.
According to Sky Sources, the Eagles have agreed a fee worth 32 million pounds with the Reds for the transfer of the former Aston Villa striker. Benteke is set to become Palace’s record signing.
He joined the Merseysiders last summer under the management of Brendan Rodgers and was a regular starter. However, things changed under Jurgen Klopp.
Last season, in 29 league games, Benteke scored 9 goals and provided 3 assists. Not to forget, he could only start 14 league games.
Overall, he netted 10 goals and provided 6 assists in 40 appearances for the Anfield club in the last campaign.
After selling Benteke, Liverpool must look to sign a new striker if they are to have any hope of challenging for the Premier League title this season. Moreover, Klopp desperately needs a new left back as well.
