Manchester United have officially completed the signing of Paul Pogba from Italian Serie A side Juventus in a record breaking deal.
The Red Devils have agreed a five deal worth £75.4million with Pogba (Daily Mail). The French international is arguably one of the best midfielders in the world and will finally solve the midfield dilemma at Old Trafford.
After the departure of Paul Scholes, United have splashed heavy cash to sign more than a few midfielders but no one has been able to replace the retired England international.
However, Pogba has the quality and class to replace Scholes and the Les Bleus midfielder can play in multiple positions as well.
Mourinho has mainly preferred a 4-2-3-1 formation in the pre-season for Manchester United and hence it is highly likely that Pogba will line up as a central midfielder in that system.
However, if needed, Jose may utilize him in the attacking midfield as well and it will not be a surprise if he replaces captain Wayne Rooney. The England international is past his best and has been mediocre for over a year.
Here is how Man United will line up with Pogba.
