Liverpool will kick start their new Premier League campaign away from home against Arsenal. Last weekend, the Reds defeated Barcelona 4-0 and lost with the same scoreline against FSV Mainz.
As far as Liverpool’s team news is concerned, more than a few players are out injured at the moment but Jurgen Klopp has still got quality stars available who can earn three points for the Merseysiders against the Gunners.
Emre Can and new signing Georginio Wijnaldum started against Barcelona and Klopp may utilize the duo in the center of the park vs Arsenal. Captain Henderson will probably start on the bench.
As far as the defense is concerned, Spanish international Alberto Moreno will probably start in the absence of injured Milner. There are still doubts about the fitness of Lovren and in such a scenario, new signings Matip and Klavan may start in the central defense.
The likes of Coutinho, Lallana and Mane may start in the attack behind lone center forward Roberto Firmino. Here is Klopp’s potential 4-2-3-1 XI for Liverpool vs Arsenal.

That team looks rubbish to me 4 strikers at the club and klopp going to play a midfielder up front, I said Liverpool should never have got klopp he is overrated big time and will be exposed in the prem, we need a left back badly but we sign midfield players we don’t need it’s a joke and arsenal will thrash us at the weekend I’m going for 4-1 arsenal
This is the team that downed Barcelona 4-0, they are fit, energetic and all have an eye for goal. Origi could come in in the second half and still pose a threat. Though for now I would only start Lovren in place of Matip given that he lacks match fitness.
I’m not sure this guy watches football. oh yeah we need a left back but this same line up destroyed Barcelona
for sure u are not a liverpool fans ..liverpool will thrash Arsenal 4-0
We won’t be thrashed 4-1. I agree with you on Firmino. I think origi is better up front with mane and coutinho supplying. This nonsense of playing a midfielder in left position is dangerous. Can klopp look for a defender?
Playing Henderson advanced seems an ideal solution to sorting his form, while also allowing Klopp to continue evolving his team, freeing up space in midfield for new arrivals in natural positions.
