Not Lacazette – Wenger Moves in to Seal Quality $55.4million Star Signing for Arsenal

Arsenal must sign a proven quality striker and a solid central defender to strengthen the squad this summer.
Recently, Lyon revealed that the Gunners made an offer of 35 million euros to sign star striker Alexandre Lacazette but the move was rejected. The French striker is rated around 42 million pounds. Will Arsenal raise their offer to finally lure the 25-year-old center forward? Only time will tell.
As far as the defense is concerned, reports suggest that Arsenal have moved in and open talks to sign German center half Shkodran Mustafi.
According to Sky Sports, the North Londoners are in talks to sign the Valencia star who has a release clause of £42.1 million pounds ($55 million) in his contract. The report further says that the Gunners can sign him for a fee £25.3 million plus a further £8.4 million in add-ons.
The 24-year-old star was part of the World Cup winning German squad in 2014. Solid at the back and a major threat up front from the set pieces, Mustafi has what it takes to be a hit in the Premier League. Arsenal must act fast and secure his signature.
