Wenger Could Splash £42million & Finally Seal Star Signing for Arsenal

Arsenal are linked with numerous top strikers this summer and must lure one to improve their strike-force. The likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Mauro Icardi and Alexandre Lacazette have been in the limelight.
Not so long ago, the North Londoners made a huge offer of 33 million pounds to hire the services of French star Alexandre Lacazette, however, the move was rejected by Olympique Lyon. Reports suggest that Arsene Wenger could up the offer, meet the asking price of 42 million pounds and finally sign the 25-year-old Les Bleus center forward (Independent).
In 2014/15 season, Alexandre won the Ligue 1 golden boot after scoring 27 goals in 33 games for Lyon. Last season, he scored 21 goals and provided 3 assists in 34 league appearances for the French club.
Arsenal fans will be furious, not for the first time, if Wenger fails to lure a top striker this summer. Hence, the former AS Monaco boss must act fast and secure the signature of Lacazette.
