Last night, Portugal defeated favorites France in their own backyard to win the European Championships for the very first time in the history.
Fernando Santos’ men finished third in their group without even winning a single game and they have now conquered Europe against all odds.
Star man Cristiano Ronaldo was stretchered off the field early on in the first half but Portugal fought hard and did the job without the skipper.
Super sub Eder scored a brilliant goal in the 108th minute of the game to seal victory for the Portuguese side.
