Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in signing German international Jonas Hector this summer and FC Koln have slapped a huge price tag on their prized asset.
According to reports (Mirror via Bild), Spurs have shown keen interest in hiring the services of the 26-year-old defender and Pochettino can seal his signing by splashing a sum of 25 million pounds (€29.7 million).
The versatile left back featured in 32 league games for the Bundesliga side last season and provided 4 assists.
Hector was a key member of the German squad that featured in the European Championships and he scored the decisive spot kick to oust Italy from the competition.
As per the provided Mirror link, Spurs believe that Hector’s price tag is very high. In all fairness, the North Londoners really do not need a left back. England international Danny Rose was top class for Tottenham last season and deservedly made it into the PFA Team of the Year.
In your opinion, should Spurs splash the cash and sign Jonas Hector?

Not @ 25 million-
Solid backup for Rose & Davis at 15.
Danny Rose is indeed world class but Spurs need Hector to replace Ben Davies who is very good but too slow to counter the speedy wingers they will be coming up against in the CL.
If we do indeed sign Hector play the guy at left back and play our Danny boy at outside left his speed and trickery would turn him into the second Gareth Bale for Rose is world class .
