Not Mahrez – Arsenal Clear to Finally Seal £42million Star Signing

Arsenal need a top quality goalscorer in the summer transfer window, someone who will score at least 20 goals in the Premier League to help them win the title.
The North Londoners have a brilliant attacking midfield lineup with world class stars like Ozil and Alexis around. Still, Wenger is looking to add another playmaker in the form of Leicester City superstar Riyad Mahrez.
As far as the strike-force is concerned, Wenger wants to sign French center forward Alexandre Lacazette. Arsenal were interested in signing the Lyon striker last summer as well but the move did not happen.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Arsenal are clear to finally hire the services of the Les Bleus star who has decided to leave (The Sun via L’Equipe) the Ligue 1 side this summer.
The 25-year-old striker scored 21 goals in 34 league appearances for Lyon last season. It has been reported that Wenger made an offer of £33 million but the move was rejected because Lyon rate him around £42 million (Independent).
