Not Ibrahimovic – Jose Confirms his Preferred Leader for Man United

Ibrahimovic Paris Saint-GermainManchester United have signed a world class goalscorer this summer by hiring the services of Swedish superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The former AC Milan striker captained Sweden at the European Championships and retired from national duty after the competition. However, Ibrahimovic will not be getting the captain’s arm-ban at Old Trafford.
Instead, Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Wayne Rooney will continue to lead the line for Manchester United under his management.
The England international has not been able to perform at the optimum level for the Red Devils in the past two seasons and must step up big time under the Portuguese boss.
If there were any doubts that the former Everton star will not captain Man United next season, Mourinho (Daily Star) has just blown them away by stating:

“He (Wayne Rooney) is the club captain, he is the manager’s captain, he is the players’ captain”

Last season, the 30-year-old star featured in 42 games for Manchester United and directly contributed in 21 goals (15 goals and 6 assists).
In your opinion, is Rooney the best choice for Man United captaincy?
