Not Pogba – Mourinho Ready to Finally Sign Star & Solve Man United's Dilemma

After securing the signings of Bailly, Ibra and Mkhitaryan, United have mainly been linked with one superstar in the form of Paul Pogba.
The Red Devils are close to signing the French international from Serie A side Juventus. Moreover, after suffering a huge defeat against Dortmund in the International Champions Cup, Mourinho is also looking to sign an experienced center back and a certain Brazilian international is in the limelight to solve his dilemma.
The player in discussion is defender Joao Miranda who can surely strengthen Jose’s back line.
United have been interested in signing the Samba star for quite a long time. Back in 2014, they were really close to signing the veteran defender when he played for Atletico Madrid but the move did not happen. He was a key member of the team that won the Spanish La Liga title under Simeone’s guidance.
Now, according to the latest reports (Daily Mail), United have revived interested in the South American star as Mourinho looks to reinforce his defense.
The 31-year-old defender had a solid campaign at Inter Milan last season under the management of Roberto Mancici. He featured in 32 league games for the Nerazzurri, scored 1 goal and provided 3 assists.
