Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to make a new look team this summer and the German boss has already sold the likes of Jordon Ibe and Martin Skrtel.
Skrtel moved to Anfield under the management of Spanish coach Rafael Benitez and the Slovakian defender played over 300 games for the Merseysiders. He has now joined Turkish side Fenerbahce.
Klopp has already reinforced his defense by signing Joel Matip from Bundesliga side Schalke. However, after selling Skrtel, the former Borussia Dortmund manager is looking to sign another center half this summer and a certain French international is in the limelight.
According to reports (The Sun via Le Parisien), Liverpool have moved in and made contact to hire the services of veteran Barcelona star Jeremy Mathieu. The 32-year-old star is mainly a center back but the Catalan giants have also utilized him effectively in the left back position.
Mathieu played a key role for Barca in their treble winning 2014-15 season. He made 41 appearances last season and scored 3 goals.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Jeremy Mathieu?

No liverpool should not , because we want to build the team for future and we need young players to build.
We need to continue with young players. This player is past his sell by date whether he plays for Barcelona or not. Higain would have been a better option
No. Liverpool should go for subotic. Barcelona does not have good defenders. Their defence has always been made to look good by their extraordinary midfield and attack, so they hardly see action and when they are attacked, they buckle easily. Germany and Eastern Europe boast of quality defenders, Klopp please explore.
Subotic, Hector and Neves…. Costing circa £40m. We can let Benteke, Allen and Lucas leave. Those three should bring in £45m+.
