Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to secure his summer signings as soon as possible to gel the new look squad well before the start of new season.
The Reds have so far sealed four signings this summer by hiring the likes of Loris Karius, Joel Matip, Sadio Mane and Ragnar Klavan.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then the Reds have agreed a fee to secure their 5th signing of the summer as well.
According to reports (Telegraph via The Shields Gazette), Liverpool and Newcastle United have agreed a fee worth 25 million pounds ($32.9 million) for the transfer of Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Dutch international directly contributed in 16 goals for the Magpies last season. Wijnaldum can play anywhere in the center/attacking midfield and will probably replace captain Henderson in the starting XI if he does end up moving to Anfield.
As per the Shields Gazette, NUFC want a large part of the fee to be paid up front, while the Reds are looking to pay in installments.
