Liverpool defeated Wigan Athletic away from home to win their third pre-season fixture of the summer. The likes of Danny Ings and Ben Woodburn scored the goals for the Reds to register a 2-0 win.
So far, the Merseysiders have scored eight goals in the pre-season against the likes of Tranmere Rovers, Fleetwood Town and Wigan Athletic. More importantly, Klopp’s men have not conceded a single goal yet and will hope that record continues when they face Huddersfield town next on 20th July.
The German manager will probably make more than a few changes in the starting XI that featured against Wigan yesterday.
Brazilian playmaker Phil Coutinho might be replaced by Lazar Markovic in the starting XI. On the other hand, England international Danny Ings should return to start as the lone striker up front.
Lucas Leiva and Alberto Moreno may also return to the starting XI for the Reds. Here is Klopp’s potential 4-2-3-1 XI vs Huddersfield.

Enough has been played against lesser opposition teams. I want to see LFC in a friendly against tough opponents soon.
