Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been looking to sign a quality midfielder for quite some time and more than a few names have been in the limelight.
If the latest reports are anything to go by then the Reds have moved in to hire the services of Dutch international Geoginio Wijnaldum from Newcastle United.
According to Telegraph, the former PSV Eindhoven star is rated around 27 million pounds ($36 million) by the Magpies but the Merseysiders are confident that they will seal his signing for 20 million pounds in the coming days.
The Netherlands star is mainly an attacking midfielder but he can effectively play in the central midfield as well. He was a key member of the Dutch side that finished 3rd in the 2014 FIFA World Cup under the management of Louis van Gaal.
In the last Premier League campaign, the 25-year-old star featured in 38 games for Newcastle United, scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Wijnaldum?

Really good signing, but once again an attacker and not the defensive midfielder that we so desperately need. Missing out on Kante before and after Leicester was in my opinion negligent to say the least, what the hell are our scouts doing, certainly not their jobs.It really is criminal that clubs like Leicester ,Watford and Southampton can pick up players that are close to World class and LFC are never at the races. Tremendously disappointing.
