How Tottenham will Line up with Mario Gotze

Mario Gotze BayernTottenham signed the likes of Son and Njie to reinforce their attacking midfield last summer. This time around, the North Londoners are looking to further strengthen the department by luring proven quality names.
One quality attacker in the limelight is German international and Bayern Munich star Mario Gotze.
According to reports in the German media (Bild), durng Euro 2016, Spurs met Gotze’s father at least twice and held talks over a potential move for the playmaker.
The 24-year-old versatile attacker mainly warmed the bench for the German champions last season and must move elsewhere for regular football.
Mario has made over 50 appearances for the national side and scored 17 goals, including the winner in the World Cup 2014 final. Capable of playing on either flank and also as a central attacking midfielder, Gotze will be a top signing for Spurs.
If the €23m rated (Independent) attacker does end up moving to Tottenham, he will mainly line up with Alli and Eriksen in the attack. Here is how Spurs will line up with Mario Gotze.

    Can’t see this one happening but I like that lineup very much. That would give us a fantastic bench too with the likes of Wanyama, Lamela, Son and Janssen itching to get involved.

    How would Gotze displace Lamela in the starting 11 ??? Lamela’s come on in leaps and bounds since last season displaying apt defensive duties without the ball and an eye for a pass/goal with. Gotze, whilst a great player, has not proven himself in the PL unlike Lamela. I just don’t get it…
