Deal Close – How Spurs will Line up Georges-Kevin Nkoudou

Pochettino-TottenhamTottenham achieved their key objective of qualifying for the Champions League last season and now they must sign top level players to challenge the best of teams in Europe’s elite competition next season.
The North Londoners have already signed two stars to mainly improve their squad depth. It will not come as any surprise if the likes of Wanyama and Janssen start on the bench more often than not.
Now, Mauricio Pochettino is looking to amplify the quality and depth of his attacking midfield by signing French international Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. If reports (Get French Football News) are anything to go by then Spurs are close to signing the Marseille attacker.
The $14.4million playmaker can play anywhere in the attacking third, however, he mainly starts on the left wing.
At White Hart Lane, Christian Eriksen starts on the left hand side of the attack. In such a scenario, the 21-year-old Les Bleus attacker will most likely start on the bench as well. Last season, Nkoudou scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists for the Ligue 1 side.
Here is how Spurs will line up with Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.

It’s all about having two players for each position. Last season we had it in defence and look what that did for us….apart from the collapse at the end, we had one of the tightest defences in the division. If we can have the same further up the pitch and maintain the momentum we had earlier in the season, there’s no reason we can’t go even better this time around.

We need a specialist left winger – someone like Nolito – for CL – Bale was at his most devastating against Maikon when he came in from the left. I think the new lad could carve out his position in the CL team on the left quite early – with Erikssen moving more central and Lams to the right.
