Having reinforced his strike-force this summer by luring Belgian center forward Michy Batshuayi from Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille, Antonio Conte is looking to strengthen Chelsea’s defense and the midfield departments.
According to reports (The Sun), the Blues are close to sealing a huge double deal worth 80 million pounds ($107 million) to hire the services of Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante and Napoli center half Kalidou Koulibaly.
Kante was top class for the Foxes last season in their title winning campaign and deservedly made it into the PFA Team of the Year.
If the French star does end up signing for the Stamford Bridge club, he will most likely replace Nemanja Matic in the starting XI. Matic is heavily linked with a move to Manchester United.
On the other hand, 25-year-old Koulibaly is a key member of the Serie A side. As per the provided link, he is rated around 50 million pounds.
The Senegalese center back should replace veteran captain John Terry in the starting lineup. Here is how Chelsea will line up with Kante and Koulibaly.
