Deal Close – How Arsenal will Line up with Versatile Forward

Alexandre is a proven quality goalscorer who finished the 2014-15 season as Ligue 1 top scorer. Now, reports (The Sun) suggest that the Gunners are close to signing Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder and are hoping to secure his signature for a fee of 8 million pounds (9.5 million euros).
The 25-year-old French international is a versatile star who is mainly a center forward but can also play effectively on the right wing and as a secondary striker as well. Goes without saying, Arsenal will use Wissam as a striker if he does end up moving to the Emirates.
Last season, the Les Bleus forward featured in 41 games for Toulouse and directly contributed in 28 goals (23 goals and 25 assists). Over the past four years, only Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexandre Lacazette has scored more goals than Wissam in the French league.
