So far, Tottenham Hotspur have secured two key signings in the summer transfer window by luring defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama and center forward Vincent Janssen.
The North Londoners are looking to further reinforce their squad to challenge for the PL title next season and German star Mario Gotze has been in the limelight.
If reports are anything to go by then the Bayern Munich attacker is more willing to sign for Spurs and may snub his former club Borussia Dortmund.
According to Emanuele Giulianelli, the 24-year-old World Cup winner may shy away from joining Dortmund and favor a move to White Hart Lane. The Italian journalist claimed that Gotze’s dad has held talks with Spurs and likes what he sees. Moreover, Giulianelli also added that Dortmund fans are angry and do not want to see Mario back at the club.
The German champions are looking to get around €24 million (Independent) from the sale of Mario Gotze. In 21 appearances for Bayern last season, he directly contributed in 10 goals (6 goals and 4 assists).
