Playmaker Closer to Signing for Tottenham Hotspur

Clinton Njie LyonAfter signing the likes of Wanyama and Janssen, Tottenham must further improve the quality of their squad and a certain French attacker has been in the limelight.
The North Londoners have been heavily linked with a move to sign Marseille playmaker Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. Spurs have agreed (The Sun) a deal worth 10.9 million pounds with the Ligue 1 side to sign the 21-year-old starlet but there has been little progress in the past few days.
Marseille are looking to sign (L’Equipe) Tottenham attacker Clinton Njie on loan as part of the deal to sell Nkoudou and the recent reports indicate that the Les Bleus star is closer to signing for Spurs.
As per the provided Sun link, Spurs want Njie to head back to France so that Nkoudou can finally join the club and the former Lyon attacker is closer to the exit door after getting axed from the club’s pre-season tour to Australia.
Nkoudou is mainly a left winger but he can also play on the right flank and as a center forward as well. Last season, he scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 41 games.

Bro , Nkoudou and Njie are players of similar mould , Njie also had terrific season with Lyon before joining spurs !! So we are just bringing another Njie and letting one go and wait for one more season for Nkoudou to settle in …. What’s the logic behind it ????
