After signing the likes of Granit Xhaka and Takuma Asano, Arsene Wenger is looking to improve the quality of his attack and two top players have been in the limelight recently.
French striker Alexandre Lacazette has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates but Lyon have come up and confirmed that they have rejected an offer from Arsenal worth 35 million euros. Moreover, the French club also suggested the Gunners can forget about signing the 25-year-old star because he is irreplaceable.
On the other hand Leicester City superstar Riyad Mahrez is also wanted by Arsenal. The North Londoners were keen on signing Jamie Vardy as well but the England international eventually decided to stay put with the Foxes.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Arsene Wenger is all prepared to sign the Algerian playmaker from the Premier League champions.
According to Daily Star, the French manager has done his homework to sign the £45million ($59 million) rated attacker and it will be hard for Ranieri to keep him from moving to the Emirates.
Mahrez deservedly won the PFA Player of the Year award after scoring 17 goals and providing 10 assists in Leicester’s title winning campaign last season.
