Liverpool already have an overcrowded strike-force at the moment with stars like Origi, Ings, Sturridge, Benteke and Balotelli around. Moreover, they also have an over overcrowded attacking midfield after signing Sadio Mane and Georginio Wijnaldum this summer.
In such a scenario, the Merseysiders really do not need to sign another attacking player unless they sell someone first.
However, reports suggest that the Reds are linked with Spanish international Jese Rodriguez.
Sport Witness cite reports in the French media claiming that the 23-year-old Real Madrid attacker wants to seal a move with Liverpool despite interest from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain. Jese is a decorated star who has won five major trophies with the Los Blancos.
The La Roja star mainly plays on the left wing but the European Champions have also utilized him as a center forward when needed.
In the last campaign, Rodriguez featured in 38 games for Madrid and directly contributed in no fewer than 14 goals (6 goals and 8 assists).

Owercrowded attack? Balotelli is out of form 2 or three years, buying Benteke was another Rodgers mistake, Sturridge is player like: 2 games play, 10 games injured. Ings was almost the whole season out too and he is not typical forward. Then we have only one forward: Origi. Atletico MAdrid wants him, then he is in Champions League football. But what LFC doesnt need is Jesse. He is fat, pricey and not goal machine. Jesse would be another mistake, like Benkete and Balotelli was. Using money wisely, then I willl buy Hector + unknown attacker for the same amount of money.
Balotelli is not repeat is not a Liverpool player the deal we signed for his was a season long loan with a right to buy for the fee agreed. it is the reason he went back to the club who hold his registration We have a good relationship with his agent and would be the reason he has been allowed to train with us but not allowed to play a game for Liverpool and nor will he because he isn’t our player Unless they can get him a loan deal at a club he likes he will go back to his club or they may just pay up his contract and he will be a free agent if they really don’t want him back
Benteke will be sitting tight at least till Jan if he doesn’t get a team he wants to go to but he want get a chance at Liverpool
Sturridge is still the NO1 striker but he has lost his pace since his injury Origi will only increase in value and will be allowed to develop this season to see if he could be the No1 if not we will sell him and bring in a striker to be No1 next season if we get a top 4 finish
We have no interest in this player from R Madrid his reps are trying to drum up business by linking Arsenal and Liverpool with him
We have been told already no new signings and that will be the case unless we can shift the likes of Benteke Henderson out the door Lucus is another if we can get those big wages off the list then the likes of Sissoko and a LB would be added but shifting players out is the preference now
