Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to amplify the quality of his squad and has already lured players like Loris Karius, Joel Matip and Sadio Mane in the summer transfer window.
On the other hand, it is vital that the German manager also holds onto the players from the current squad who might play an effective part for the club in future. 23-year-old goalkeeper Danny Ward is perhaps one of those key players.
The Welsh goalie played the first half of last season with Scottish side Abredeen FC before the former Dortmund boss recalled him back to Liverpool. After returning to Anfield, he featured in two league games for the Reds in the last campaign.
Klopp has surely seen potential in Ward and now the goalie has officially agreed a new long term deal with the Merseysiders. Danny will immediately join Huddersfield on loan for next season (LFC).
Ward was part of the Welsh squad that reached the semi finals of the European Championships in France. He played in the opening fixture against Slovakia.
