During the European Championships, Chelsea sealed the signing of a top striker in the form of Michy Batshuayi from Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille.
Now, the Blues have completed their second key signing of the summer by luring French international N’Golo Kante from Premier League champions Leicester City (Chelsea FC).
The 25-year-old defensive midfielder was brilliant for the Foxes last season under the management of Italian boss Claudio Ranieri and deservedly made it into the PFA Team of the Year.
It will be intriguing to see how well he can perform under Chelsea’s Italian boss Antonio Conte. Kante was part of the national side that lost the Euro 2016 final against Portugal.
According to reports in the British media (Daily Mirror), Chelsea agreed a deal of £61 million (£30 million fee with Leicester City and a 5-year contract worth £31 million) to sign the Les Bleus star.
The Blues must now focus on signing a top attacking playmaker this summer.

Nice addition
Chelsea should also go in for Mateo kovacic from Madrid, I wonder why chelsea has not been linked with a player of such caliber
He will be a perfect signing for the blues
Thank you all the staff and Chelsea management that made it possible to complete the signing of N’golo Kante. All we need now is is a good Central Defender and a Goal scoring attacking M. Fielder and in my opinion Riyad Mahrez. Is the best man to do that. So what we need in Defender is Kalidou Koulibaly and Riyad Mahrez in attacking Midfield. God Bless Roman A.movic, God Bless Conte, God bless all Chelsea staff and Fans. Blues all the way.
