Wenger wants "Absolutely Brilliant" $23million Star Signing for Arsenal

Having reinforced their midfield this summer by luring Granit Xhaka, Arsenal are now focusing on strengthening other key departments.
As far as the defense is concerned, the North Londoners need to add more quality and depth in the central defense and the left full back position.
If reports are anything to go by then Arsenal are looking to sign a versatile star who can effectively play in both positions, in fact, he can play in the midfield as well. The player in discussion is Dutch international and Manchester United star Daley Blind.
According to Mirror, Arsenal are targeting the signing of Blind, with Mourinho yet to decide whether he will keep the $23million rated star or not.
Blind mainly partnered Smalling in the central defense last season. Now, the Red Devils have already signed Eric Bailly who will most probably replace the former Ajax star in the starting XI.
The Netherlands star rose to fame under the management of Van Gaal during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He was praised for his “absolutely brilliant” performance (BBC) against Spain.
Last season, Blind featured in 56 games for the Old Trafford club, scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists.
