Tottenham Hotspur reinforced their attacking midfield and defense last summer under the management of Mauricio Pochettino.
This time around, the North Londoners are focused on luring key players for the strike-force and the midfield departments.
As far as the strike-force is concerned, Spurs are interested in numerous forwards and lately they have been heavily linked with a move to sign Belgian international Michy Batshuayi.
The Argentine manager is also in search of an experienced player for the midfield department and a certain Croatian international clearly fits the bill for that role.
The player in the lime light is Fiorentina’s defensive midfielder Milan Badelj who is a Totteham transfer target.
According to reports, (Calciomercato via Fiorentinanews), the 27-year-old could leave the Viola for a fee of around £7.9million.
The mentioned fee is an absolute bargain for a strong holding midfield star like Badelj. The Croat had an impressive last campaign with Fironteina and deservedly earned a place in the national side for the European Championships.
In 27 league games last season, Milan formed a solid presence in front of the back line and also provided support in attack when needed.
In your opinion, should Spurs sign Milan Badelj?
