Pochettino Clear to Finally Sign €40million Playmaker – Spurs Keen

Pochettino-TottenhamTottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to strengthen the squad for the next season and top quality players are being targeted.
With Guardiola and Mourinho around, the Argentine manager needs to bring in proven stars to challenge for the Premier League title and compete in the Champions League next season.
Tottenham have been keen on signing Quincy Promes and if reports are anything to go by then Pochettino is clear to finally hire the services of the Dutch attacker who is set to quit his current club Spartak Moscow in the summer transfer window (Daily Mail).
The 24-year-old Netherlands star was in brilliant form last season. Promes netted 18 goals and provided 8 assists in 32 games for the Russian side.
The €40m rated (Sport-Express.ru) star is a versatile playmaker who can play anywhere in the attacking third, even as a center forward.
It will be fair to say that Spurs already have more than a few quality playmakers and for now, they must focus on signing an out and out striker first.
In your opinion, should Tottenham sign Quincy Promes?

Would be a good prospect and being Dutch there is a good chance he will fit into the premier league system of play right away. Hard to think of a Dutch player that has come into the league that did not excel. The vast majority do anyway.

Don`t know the guy at all and no matter what their goal ratio is , or their box to box attacking , or their defenceive capabilities , or playing on either wings , can play in goals , left back or right back , this is all useless if he can`t star in the worlds toughest league , many have tried and failed , to watch them in their comfort zone of a sunshine country is not a recommendation .

Memphis should serve as a warning to us all. 30m?? You’re having a laugh.
