Arsenal supporters will be furious if Manchester United end up signing Leicester City’s N’Golo Kante this summer.
The Gunners have been interested in luring the French international for quite some time but the latest reports suggest that Jose Mourinho is ready to meet the release clause in his contract to bring him to Old Trafford (Mirror).
The 25-year-old star is a key member of the Foxes’ squad and played a pivotal role in helping them win the title last season.
He is Leicester’s midfield general and Arsenal boss Wenger has heavily praised his compatriot. The Gunners’ manager claimed (ES):
“He (Kante) has incredible quality. He feels the game, only very few people can do that. He’s always where he needs to be.”
Last season, under the management of Italian boss Claudio Ranieri, Kante was ever present for the Foxes and featured in 37 league games. He scored a goal and also provided 4 assists while mainly playing as a defensive midfielder in front of the back line.
N’Golo’s brilliant performances deservedly earned him a place in France’s Euro 2016 squad.
As per the provided Mirror link, Kante has a release clause of £22 million in his contract. Not to forget, the Les Bleus star will have to give up Champions League football if he opts to leave Leicester for Manchester United.
N’Golo Kante wants to play in the champion league for the first time in his life and Manchester United and Jose Mourinho cannot give him that chance. N’Golo Kante already rejected to join Chelsea FC for the same reason , so why on earth should he join Machester United .
I agree with Bakri, The list of top quality players who are queueing up not to play CL football next season is not a very long one. Lets be honest, there is every chance that they will not get top 4 next season. If R.Madrid come for their goalkeeper top 6 will be as good as it gets.
