Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to reinforce his midfield this summer by luring a versatile player and a few names are in the lime light.
The Reds have already secured the signing of Marko Grujic last winter and now Mexican midfielder and Porto star Hector Herrera is linked with a move to Anfield.
If reports are anything to go by then Liverpool are making serious efforts to secure the signing of the Primeira Liga star.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are looking to sign the 26-year-old North American but they face serious competition from the Reds who are ready to bring him to Anfield.
Few days back, Fox Sports Mexico reporter Vladimir Garcia claimed that Herrera is close to sealing Liverpool move.
On the other hand, Express reported (via Fox Sports MX ) that the Reds have even agreed personal terms with the midfielder.
The “fantastic” star (ESPN) is having a brilliant Copa America with the national side at the moment and the impressive performances may increase his value as well. Liverpool must do all to secure the services of the talented Mexican this summer.

We desperately need one or two GOOD signings . . . and soon! Supposedly also after Tello and some ‘versatile’ guy from Morocco, both of whom have spectacularly average statistics, so please, please, please can we get one or twoTOP CLASS players to take away the pain when the likes of City and United get players like Pogba and Gundogan! It’s not asking a lot in life, is it? We’ve got to catch and then overtake these clubs but our ambition, when it comes to transfers, seems woeful compared to the other teams. Still got to concentrate on the defensive midfielder role as it’s been our weak spot since Alonso left!
