Jurgen Klopp cannot afford to waste time in the summer transfer window and must seal quality signings to reinforce the Liverpool squad.
As far as the attack is concerned, reports suggest that Liverpool are clear to agree the signing of Celta Vigo attacker Nolito.
Liverpool have been linked with a move to sign the Spanish international for quite some time. Last winter, Talksport reported that the Reds have moved in with an offer to sign the 29-year-old attacker. However, Nolito eventually stayed with the Spanish side.
Back in April, Mirror reported that the Merseysiders have been monitoring the La Roja star.
Now, Klopp has the chance to finally secure the signing of Nolito this summer by paying the asking price of 18 million Euros ($20 million). According to Celta Vigo president (Star):
“I think that Nolito will leave Celta this year.”
“There are no numbers, no negotiations. He has a buy-out clause of €18m. Who pays it can sign him.”
Last season, the left winger featured in 29 games for the La Liga club, scored 12 goals and also provided 7 assists.
The Merseysiders, who finished 8th in the Premier League last season, are also linked with Newcasltle United attacker Andros Townsend.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Nolito?
Nolito will be a good signing.
Well, he would have been had City not just announced that they have reached agreement with him and he’s signing for them after the Euros . . .
Nolito will be a good signing but alternatively Liverpool should move & sign Ivan perisic
