Jose Ready to Finally Sign Star of "Exceptional Ability"

Manchester United must reinforce their midfield and are linked with numerous quality players this summer.
Since the retirement of Fergie, United have spent heavy sums to sign midfielders like Fellaini, Herrera, Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger. However, not even a single star has been able to replace the legendary Paul Scholes.
United were interested in luring Italian midfielder Marco Verratti last year (MEN) and if reports are anything to go by then Jose is ready to finally sign the 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain star.
Express cite reports in the Italian media claiming that Jose Mourinho is prepared to break the bank and splash a sum of 79 million pounds to hire the services of the Azzurri midfielder. The report says that United want Verratti to move to Old Trafford with Swedish striker Ibrahimovic.
Capable of playing anywhere in the center of the park, the Italian star has got “exceptional ability” (Xavi – ESPN) and will surely amplify the quality of Man United squad, however, the mentioned fee is way too high.
