How Arsenal will Line up with Rob Holding

The Gunners have reinforced their midfield department by luring Swiss international Granit Xhaka from the Bundesliga this summer.
Now, Arsene Wenger is looking to reinforce other key departments to seriously challenge for the Premier League and the Champions League titles next season.
As far as the central defense is concerned, reports in the media suggest that Arsenal are close to signing 20-year-old England international Rob Holding.
According to Football Insider, deal to sign the talented youngster from Bolton Wanderers is close after the North Londoners made an improved offer to secure his services.
Former Bolton boss Neil Lennon heavily praised the U21 English defender and claimed (The Bolton News):

“Rob Holding has been a superstar for me. I think he has had real quality.”

At the moment, Gabriel and Koscielny form the first choice central defensive partnership in Arsenal’s defense. Holding is a right sided center back who can also play as a right full back. Last season, he featured in 26 games for Bolton in the Championship and scored a goal.
