Arsenal are looking to sign a top quality playmaker to reinforce their attacking midfield in the summer transfer window and a certain German international is in the lime light.
According to reports, Arsenal want to secure the signing of Bayern Munich attacker Mario Gotze in a deal worth 34 million Euros this summer after it looks highly unlikely that the Gunners will lure Mkhitaryan (The Sun).
The World Cup winner is linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena after an injury hit last campaign with the German champions. Bayern have hired the services of Portuguese sensation Renato Sanches from Benfica and it will not come as any surprise if Gotze eventually leaves this summer.
Capable of playing anywhere in the attacking third, the “enormous quality” playmaker (Sky) will be a terrific addition for the Gunners.
The former Dortmund superstar is will line up with Ozil and Alexis in the attack if he does end up moving to the Emirates.
