Liverpool Close to Signing Versatile Player – Fee Agreed in Principle

Liverpool FCLiverpool already have more than a few midfielders in their squad but it looks like Jurgen Klopp is ready to revamp the center of the park with new signings.
The Reds secured the signing of a young midfielder last winter in the form of Marko Grujic from Red Star Belgrade.
The Serbian international was then loaned back for the remainder of the season. Grujic will be ready to play for the Anfield club next season.
If reports are anything to go by then the Merseysiders are closing in to sign another young midfielder in the form of Anderlecht’s Samuel Bastien.
According to Irpina News, the 19 year-old starlet has attracted interest from all over Europe, however, he will end up at Liverpool with whom Anderlecht have already agreed a deal in principle worth 5-6 million Euros. Moreover, the report says that Bastien will then be loaned out to gain more experience next season.
The versatile midfielder played his last season on loan with Serie B side Avellino. He can effectively operate as a central midfielder and also as an attacking midfielder.

We don’t seem to be learning from our mistakes, do we? Yet another young kid, this time having played 31 games and scored two goals and made ONE assist in a team nobody on the known parts of the planet has heard of and we are possibly paying millions for him? With figures like that, two goals and one assist in 31 games, is he a goalkeeper?
This smacks of yet another kid being brought in to, hopefully, sell at a profit a few years down the line. Personally, I’d have earmarked that money for a player capable of making a difference NEXT season because, let’s be realistic, our transfer activity is going to be dwarfed by what United, City, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea do and we’ve got to remember that we not only have to catch them up, we’ve got to overtake them if we want to get into Europe again and buying kid after kid – who nobody has ever heard of – isn’t going to cut the mustard in the short-term when the teams above us in the league start buying the cream of the forthcoming European Championships . . . after we buy the cream of the Under Eighteen’s Championship.
Granted, I know sod all about most of the players we’ve actually signed so hopefully we’ve unearthed a couple of gems but I doubt very much if the aforementioned clubs are going to get their fans saying “Who???” when they get their cheque-books out.
I need to see signings that will make the fans smile from ear to ear NOW, signings that make me think qualifying for the CL at the end of next year is a certainty . . . and I currently can’t see that.
When I see rumours that we may be getting Reina back I want to slam my head through a brick wall but as we’ve only just had it repaired after I did the same thing after the Seville game I’m wary of upsetting the wife. Pepe was okay but getting him back would be a major mistake. Mind you, we make quite a few of them in the transfer market, don’t we . . .

Liverpool always make fans fill sad instead of making them happy always signing half players instead of buy quality players like higuain, gotze,

I agree, for some reason we’re always buying no-name brands! We bought Samid Yesil a couple of years ago too & where’s he now ? ? ? Gone with the wind!

All true lots of youngsters and no stars, the reason they do not want to come to Liverpool fc,,,there is nothing to offer the big stars,no Europe, owners who prefer to see a profit from the the teens than to see Liverpool win the premiership or any other cup for that matter, such a shame. We actually have the nucleus of a good side, but deadwood prevents us from going from normal than to great 3 marquee players would make all the difference, forge Mario Goetze his statements on L iverpool alone makes him a no buy.As per usual we are losing all of our possible top signings to other teams dont dwindle buy but not silly money like Andy carroll and Christian benteke who both proved that money cannot buy you the league title. We once had great scouts who brought in unknown players and turned them in to stars not for a profit.Come on Liverpool see sense (ynwa)

we made mistakes before, old story, the new one is that we should give jurgen klopp chance to turn things around.every manager has his own tactics and philosophies of management.jurgen klopp is a manager of ambitious, in just a few months reached two finals of which some couldn’t did for more than two years. so we should give him chance for amendment, with him we will have a great season ahead us.

even those we call Big names were once no names. And if you see things clearly, our current transfers are different. previous transfers we were signing MIDDLE CLASS players but now we are signing players that are not even middle class players they are low class and that goes the same witj their ages. believe me these low profiled players are not going to end up middle class but the world greatest.
    i believe!
    you wait and see.
