Picture – Claudio Bravo Lifts the Copa America Trophy

copa-america-trophyTwenty one goals were scored in the knock out rounds of the Copa America Centenario, however, just like last year, not even a single goal was scored in the final.
Chile and Argentina collided in a boring contest and the match was once again decided on penalties.
Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal missed the opening spot kick and Messi had the golden chance to give Argentina the lead in the shootout. However, the Barcelona superstar blasted the ball over the bar.
Afterwards, Claudio Bravo brilliantly saved Lucas Biglia’s penalty kick and then Silva stepped up to convert his and win the coveted prize for Chile yet again. For the third time in as many years, Argentine have lost a major final and Messi was absolutely inconsolable.
Chile become the first team to win the Copa America in back to back years since Argentina did it in 1946 and 1947.
Here is the picture of Claudio Bravo lifting the Copa America trophy.
