Yacine Brahimi PortoNew Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is ready to reinforce his squad in the summer transfer window and a certain Algerian international is in the lime light.
According to reports (Sportwitness via O Jogo), Chelsea are very close to signing quality Porto winger Yacine Brahimi.
The 26-year-old playmaker was in brilliant form for the Primeira Liga side last season and has attracted interest from top clubs.
The French born “superb dribbler” (Sky) scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 49 games for the Portuguese giants last season.
As per the provided Sportwitness link, the talks to sign Brahimi are in the last stages and Chelsea could seal the signing within days.
Yacine has played effectively in various attacking positions but his natural starting place is the left wing. At Stamford Bridge, the left wing position is mainly occupied by star man Eden Hazard.
The Belgian international may as well be moved to the CAM role to make way for Brahimi on the left. Here is how the Blues will line up with Yacine Brahimi.
