Arsenal Used Big Time and Have Nowhere to Hide

Arsenal have been looking to secure the services of Leicester City star striker Jamie Vardy for quite some time.
The saga that took many twists and turns in the past few weeks is finally over with the England international deciding against joining the North Londoners.
Even Arsenal striker Giroud thought that Jamie wanted a move to the Emirates (Sky) but the 29-year-old striker who scored 24 league goals last season has agreed a new deal (Sky) with the Foxes after toying with the Gunners
Leicester brilliantly won the Premier League title last season under the management of Claudio Ranieri. However, without a shadow of a doubt, Arsenal are huge club and have world class players in the squad. Moreover, the Gunners could have easily met Vardy’s wage demands as well but the player has still opted to stay with the Foxes.
The decision to snub Arsenal and agreeing a new contract with Leicester perhaps indicates the player’s belief that the Gunners still do not have a better chance of winning the title as compared to Leicester City.
In all fairness, Arsenal have been used big time by a Leicester player and have got nowhere to hide. Wenger has to look elsewhere to solve the strike-force dilemma.
