Arsenal are looking to sign quality players to reinforce their back line this summer and a versatile star in the form of Elseid Hysaj is in the lime light.
The Gunners have shown keen interest in signing the 22-year-old Albanian international and now reports suggest that Wenger has already moved in with an offer to secure his services.
According to French source Le10Sport, European giants like Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal want the Napoli full-back this summer and the North Londoners have already made the first offer of around $22 million to lure him.
Describing the talented star, James McNicholas states (BR):
“Hysaj is not just an athlete, though—he’s technically gifted and positionally intelligent. What’s perhaps most striking about him is his ability to play on either side of the defence.”
Last season, Hysaj featured in 37 league games for the Italian side and helped the team finish second in the Serie A.
Albania registered their first ever win in a major competition by beating Romania at the European Championships under the captaincy of Elsied Hysaj.
Arsenal must act swiftly and secure his signature before the likes of Barcelona and Atletico increase their efforts to sign him.
