The Gunners are looking to strengthen their strike-force this summer and are linked with more than a few quality forwards.
A new name is in the lime light in the form of French international and Fulham striker Moussa Dembele and sources close to the player has claimed that Arsenal want to secure his services (ESPN).
The talented 19-year-old starlet was in brilliant form for Fulham last season and his top performances attracted interest from top clubs.
As per the provided ESPN link, Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool have also shown interest to bring him to the Premier League. Abroad, the likes of Juventus and Fenerbahce have been monitoring the French U-20 striker.
Back in January, Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic stated that Dembele is a “key” player (Star) and will not be sold. However, the teenage forward will be out of contract next month and looks set to depart Craven Cottage.
Praising the young Dembele, team mate Ross McCormack claimed (SW Londoner):
“Moussa’s a young boy but he’s got the ability and potential to go to the top. As you can see, he’s got the physique, pace, power, touch; it’s all there.”
Dembele featured in 46 games for the Championship side last season and directly contributed in 24 goals (17 goals and 7 assists).
In your opinion, should Arsenal sign Dembele or look for a proven quality striker?
