Tottenham Hotspur have had an impressive Premier League campaign even though in the end, they failed to win the title.
The North Londoners must now reinforce the squad with quality players to challenge the best of teams in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Spurs are looking to sign a top quality striker in the form of Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi. Moreover, Pochettino wants to reinforce the midfield as well and once again, Victor Wanyama is in the limelight (Telegraph).
As per the provided Telegraph link, versatile midfielder Tom Carroll could be allowed to leave White Hart Lane as the Argentine boss looks to bring in someone with more quality.
Carroll has featured in 18 league games this season and has scored one goal. Pochettino has praised Tom’s impact and claimed that he is a hard working player (Sky). However, it will be fair to say that he is surplus to the requirements at Tottenham.
The likes of Mason, Dier, Dembele are better than Tom as far as the midfield role is concerned and it will not come as any surprise if the 23-year-old England international is allowed to leave.
In your opinion, should Tottenham let Tom Carroll leave?

I think like Andros Townsend he would be better off somewhere else.
He’ll improve with more game time which he’s not going to get enough of at Tottenham.
For his own sake he should move.
Winks is coming through and is a very good prospect. But i woyld rather keep Carroll than Mason who is not Premiership quality in my opinion.
Yes let him go along with Ryan Mason. Neither are good enough to get into a top 6 or maybe top 10 Premier League side so should not be in our squad.
Our overrated very average players who need to got rid of are Son , Chaldi , Mason , Carroll , Bentelab , these players are simply not good enough and when MP brings anyone of them on as a sub to try and change a match and turn it around to win they all fail miserably get shot of .
In all honesty..Johnny’s comments is correct..n Chadli n Son need to
show..that they are needed by Spurs creative.. entertaining..aggressive..winners-attitude play.
N for d others..their own sakes..they need d games..n better they jave it ..with other clubs..as competition is keen.
Sons better than good, Chadli, Mason, Methlab, Trippier, Carroll dont fit nor will they enhance the clubs chances next season in both EPL and CL
Sure Carroll, Fazio (if he hasn’t gone already, sort of lost track of him) and Bentaleb need to go, but getting rid of decent squad players like Chadli, Son Mason and Trippier is throwing the baby out with the bath water. They have proven they can do a job and although not players I’d like to see a first team regulars we need them. We will be playing a lot of games next season and we don’t want to be in a position in the summer where we need to buy loads of new players who will then need to settle and some of whom may not work out at all.
