Liverpool have to sort out their defense in the summer transfer window and have already agreed a deal to sign Joel Matip from Schalke.
On the other hand, the Reds are also looking to sign a new goal keeper as well.
Liverpool’s first choice goalie Simon Mignolet has been highly inconsistent since joining the club few seasons ago under the management of Brendan Rodgers.
The former Sunderland goalie is a decent shot stopper but his decision making inside the 6 yard box, especially when it comes to set-pieces has been horrible. Over the past few seasons, many a times, his ridiculous decisions have cost Liverpool and the Belgian star shows no signs of improvement.
According to reports (Gianluca Di Marzio), Jurgen Klopp has made Mainz goalie Loris Karius a top transfer target and will look to sign him in the summer transfer window.
The German international has featured in every league game for the Bundesliga side this season and kept 9 clean sheets.
As per the provided Gianluca Di Marzio link, the 22-year-old Kaiser has a release clause of $11.3 million in his contract.
In your opinion, should Liverpool sign Karius to replace Mignolet?

A regular watcher of German footie on telly the keeper who most impresses me is Timo Horn of Cologne. Never seen him look anything but superb but not seen as much of Karius so can’t say too much about him. Horn commands his area and the ball sticks with him as if he’s got glue on his gloves . . . which is a good sign for a goalie!!!! Might cost a bit more but better get the one who looks the best and not the cheapest, eh?
Anything better than Mignolet!
Timo horn the best choice
